It can be challenging to secure a property there. One must be vigilant and prepared - While some neighborhoods experience fluctuations in condition and popularity, Edgewater-Lakepointe maintains a steady appeal. It remains a highly sought-after location. Home buyers can expect to find three or four-bedroom single-family homes featuring attached two-car garages in traditional, ranch-style, midcentury and Dutch Colonial-inspired designs. Prices are moderate and you get a lot of house and design appeal for the dollar.

Edgewater-Lakepointe can be explored by walking, biking, or driving
A half-mile walk leads residents to Lake Hefner, or residents can bike along the lake's perimeter. Public transportation isn't available within the neighborhood, but residents can use EMBARK buses at stops along Northwest 63rd Street and North Portland Avenue to get to other locations around OKC. Northwest Expressway and State Highway 74 are easily accessible. Downtown is about 7 miles away, and Will Rogers World Airport is about 10 miles.
